This year’s New York Fashion Week unfolded in a spectrum of moods and artistry, spanning sensual femininity to edgy youth. Yet beyond the Spring/Summer collections, the spotlight shone on a formidable Asian collective redefining fashion’s global conversation.
From K-pop idols redefining culture to Thai stars commanding presence and Filipino talents turning heads, these figures carried their heritage to New York—spotlighting Asia and cementing its place on fashion’s biggest stage.

Half-Filipino Luminaries

These Filipina figures proudly carried the Philippines to fashion’s forefront. Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt brought star power to the Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors shows. Asia’s Next Top Model cycle 5 winner Maureen Wroblewitz was a stylish and commanding presence as she watched RVNG Couture and L’AGENCE. Of course, Filipino-German-American content creator Valkyrae infused playful yet commanding energy at Coach.
East Asian Power

K-pop idol Shuhua from I-DLE stunned at the COS show, while I-DLE Soyeon brought androgynous edge to the Coach show. K-drama actress Chae Soobin, Singaporean singer Estelle Fly, and Japanese multi-hyphenate Kōki added elegance and sophistication. At Ralph Lauren, AESPA’s Winter, Chinese actress Yao Chen, and Japanese star Hikari Mori commanded the front row. Meanwhile, Japanese comedian Naomi Watanabe brought her signature jubilant flair to Calvin Klein.
Southeast Asian Baddies

Actress Tu Tontawan and GL star Pansa “Milk” Vosbein cemented Thai power at Calvin Klein’s show in minimalist, elegant outfits. Also raising the Thai flag was actress and host Tipnaree Weerawatnodom, also in a minimalist chic look at the COS show. Meanwhile, Indonesian actress-singer Syifa Hadju and Singaporean singer Estelle Fly made a stylish case for the dress-over-pants look at Coach.
Indian It Girls

No fashion week would be complete without the Indian It girls. Renowned actresses Priyanka Chopra and Mindy Kaling sat front row at Ralph Lauren in with almost regal energy, with Kaling also gracing Tory Burch and Khaite. Actress Disha Patani stunned at Calvin Klein with sultry allure, while content creator Madi Webb turned heads at Alice & Olivia, Collina Strada, and BRONX AND BANCO in her bold, eclectic fits.
Beyond personal style, this moment at New York Fashion Week was more than representation—it was recognition. A celebration of Asian talent, creativity, and cultural influence claiming its rightful place on the global stage.
