Beauty is an ever-evolving concept—one shaped by culture, trends, and personal expression. In such a landscape, conformity often feels like the easier path. But the journey to beauty rarely follows a single guide. Instead, it remains deeply personal. Recognizing this, long-time friends and founders of Elyse Aesthetics Dr. Marj Salazar and Dr. Anne Caoile have chosen to champion a different narrative: celebrate uniqueness and encourage self-discovery.
Following their iconic appearance at MEGA Ball 2025: Fashion + Dance—a testament to their growing influence beyond the world of aesthetics—we got up close and personal with the duo to unveil what their next step is, and what it could mean for you.

In Which Paths are Made by Walking
A faithful encounter at a public hospital that led to a meeting of the minds. Salazar and Caoile, then an intern and a General Surgery resident respectively, have always believed in the transformative power of aesthetics. Upon reconnecting years later, they decided to establish their own aesthetic clinic.

Caoile, who has trained in global plastic surgery hubs like South Korea and Turkey, served as the backbone of Elyse’s surgical services. She pioneered the Barbie Nose in the Philippines—a structural rhinoplasty characterized by a delicate, feminine nose bridge and an upturned tip.
Now, before you turn your nose up and say, “Is this just another cookie-cutter trend?”, consider this. The Barbie Nose first gained traction abroad, particularly among Turkish patients, because the procedure is easier to do on their high nose bridges. Instead of forcing the same technique on Filipinos, Caoile adapted it to complement our diverse features better.

Meanwhile, Salazar, now CEO and an American Academy Aesthetic Medicine Board-certified dermatologist, focused on mastering Elyse’s non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures—including fillers, botox, threads, and skin and wellness treatments.
Throughout each service, Elyse’s beauty philosophy remains palpable: effective solutions tailored just for you. COO Caoile emphasized, “We believe that [aesthetic procedures are] not just about enhancing beauty, but it’s about feeling your best. Embrace individuality.”
Salazar also shared, “[Beyond physical transformations], surgical, non-surgical, and skin and wellness treatments can transform internally as well. It’s the path toward self-assurance.” Caoile then added, “We [hope to] transform and unlock greatness with surgical and non-surgical procedures, one person at a time.”

All Roads Lead to Elyse
Salazar and Caoile’s commitment to enhancing innate beauty resonated with many. They have even expanded their reach abroad—with clients flying into the country to get personalized services at their clinic. Salazar recounted, “We see how these people celebrate themselves more openly. We see how these people become the people they wanted to be. [And we want to become] stepping stones [in that journey].”
With the success of Elyse Aesthetics in San Juan, the clinic is set to open a new branch in Timog, Quezon City this September. While a big step for the two founders, one can only expect the same quality of service at the new clinic. They boldly claimed, “Whether it’s their first visit or the fiftieth, patients can expect to feel genuinely cared for—from the moment they walk in to the moment they step out.”
Through this new milestone, Salazar and Caoile hope to continue bringing trusted non-invasive treatments and holistic wellness solutions closer to their growing clientele base—which has always been at the heart of their operations. Caoile puts it best, “It’s not just a destination of beauty with Elyse Aesthetics, but a sanctuary of personal growth and self-love.”
And while the journey to beauty remains unpredictable and ever-changing, Elyse Aesthetics and doctors Marj Salazar and Anne Caoile empower you to walk it with confidence—remaining true to who you are.
