On a mission to celebrate identity, leadership, and cross-cultural connection within the global Chinese community, the second edition of Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global marked a defining milestone—expanding from nine participating countries in its inaugural year to 15.

Held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the cultural pageant brought together 23 candidates who stood with grace and poise on the global stage. The evening was co-hosted by Marc Nelson, Janeena Chan, Taiwan’s Kevin Tai, and Pageant Director Nicole Cordoves.
Joining the coronation night were presenters CHiNOY TV and Oishi, as well as Chinese-Filipino designers for the Formal Wear segment, Vee Tan and Edwin Tan.

Candidates of Chinese descent competed across thoughtfully curated segments that highlighted confidence, cultural pride, and a commitment to authentic global representation. The evening was further elevated by captivating performances, including a special set by Jose Mari Chan.
Candidates were evaluated across Resort Wear, Formal Wear, and the Final Question by a distinguished panel that included Laurenti Dyogi, beauty queen Nicole Borromeo, and V-MAN Chief of Editorial Content Patrick Ty.

After an evening of fierce competition, a new generation of global royalty emerged. Malaysia’s Ang Wei Yang was crowned Mr. Global Chinatown 2026, while Canada’s Tyra Rosnuk claimed the title of Ms. Global Chinatown—both of whom now stand as the community cultural ambassadors. Switzerland’s Oliver Liu Xu and Thailand’s Khaohom Passawalee were named 1st Runners-Up, with Canada’s Yi Fang Gao and Malaysia’s Belle Nanphasorn securing the 2nd Runner-Up titles.

Ultimately, Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Global proved to be a celebration of Chinese heritage that transcends borders. Beyond the crowns, the pageant advanced its purpose-driven mission with the launch of the Christelle Chow Tan Legacy for Gastric Care and Support, in partnership with Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation and Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital—championing identity, excellence, and meaningful representation on a global stage.
