Entertainment Writer and Showbiz Columnist Ricky Lo has passed away at the age of 75. 

He died at 10 PM on May 4 from a stroke as confirmed by his sister, Susan Lee.

Born on April 21, 1946, Ricky has delivered noteworthy celebrity news to the country for decades through his FunFare column in The Philippine Star. He’s been with the publication since the 1980s, where’s he’s held his post as Entertainment Editor until his passing.

He’s also hosted The Buzz from 1999 to 2003 and scooped numerous showbiz breaking news with his exclusive interviews.

In his last Instagram post on April 13, Ricky shared that he recently got jabbed with the first dose of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine.
