Some assume that the attention fame and a platform bring mean that stars can just drop out of school and focus on their careers. But that isn’t always the case. Even with other opportunities available and the challenges and pressures that come with being a working student and public figure, some still choose to prioritize their education and finish their schooling.

Lorin Gutierrez – Graduated From College

In 2021, Lorin Gutierrez moved to the United States to pursue her studies, enrolling at Seaver College at Pepperdine University. Five years later, her efforts bore fruit when she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the liberal arts college in Malibu, California, last May as part of the Class of 2026. Making the moment even more special was how her family, including her mom, Ruffa Gutierrez, and younger sister Venice, was there for her graduation.
BINI’s Sheena Catacutan and Stacey Sevilleja – Graduated From Senior High School

In between a world tour and Coachella, BINI has been booked and busy in 2026. But even with non-stop events and commitments, the members are still balancing their schooling with work. Such is the case for Sheena and Stacey, who, in the middle of the group’s eventful year, finished senior high school at JPI Technologies, Training and Services Inc., the same institution where their other members have also graduated. Even P-pop superstars know the value of getting a good education.
Kai Montinola – Graduated From Senior High School

Ever since she finished as a finalist on Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11, Kai Montinola has become a promising rising star. It’s been achievement after achievement for the Gen Z actress and singer, including graduating from senior high school last April and completing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) strand at St. Paul Learning Center in Cebu City.
Erika Rae Poturnak – Graduated From College

More than just being Ina Raymundo’s eldest daughter, Erika Rae Poturnak is passionate about music, having released song covers and even an original track in the past. It’s a passion that pushed her to take up higher education at Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s best music schools, whose famous alumni include Laufey and St. Vincent. Now, Poturnak is one step closer to achieving her music dreams after graduating from the school with a Bachelor of Music degree in Professional Music.
Angeline Quinto – Graduated From College

Singer and actress Angeline Quinto is the latest example of how it’s never too late to get a degree. At 36 years old, she recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Marketing Management from Immaculada Concepcion College, marking the end of an academic journey she’s been quietly but steadily working on in the midst of her showbiz career.
