5 Things to Know About Miss Supranational 2026 Katrina Llegado

Among all of the crowned queens of Miss Universe Philippines 2025, Miss Philippines Supranational 2025 Katarina Llegado was the last of her batch to compete internationally. She had over a year of preparation before she took the stage at Miss Supranational 2026 in Poland. But as they say, good things come to those who wait, and for Llegado, that meant joining the winners’ circle of Filipinas who have triumphed at international pageants as she bested 66 other delegates to be crowned Miss Supranational 2026. 

With the win, not only is Llegado now an international titleholder, but she also becomes just the second Filipina in history to win the pageant, the first being Mutya Datul in 2013. As one of two Filipinas to hold the title of Miss Supranational, Llegado is embarking on a reign that was years in the making, but also the product of the efforts of a woman who worked for the moment. She’s Competed in Multiple Pageants

For local pageant fans, Katrina Llegado’s name is a familiar one as she’s been participating in pageants for the past eight years. Her first foray into pageantry came when she competed in Mutya ng Taguig representing Barangay Bagumbayan, Taguig in 2018. Even at the local community level, Llegado showed potential as she placed in the Top 5. 

Next, in 2019, she made the leap to national pageants by joining that year’s Miss World Philippines competition, where she ended her run with the title of Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 and three special awards, including Best in Evening Gown. Llegado would later represent the country at Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 in Bolivia. In her first international pageant, she finished as the 5th runner-up. 

Llegado returned to the national pageant scene when she joined Miss Universe Philippines 2022 and made it to 2nd runner-up. Finally, in 2025, Llegado tried one more time at a national pageant by joining Miss Universe Philippines 2025. While she didn’t win the crown as she ultimately finished in the Top 6, she was named Miss Supranational Philippines 2025, which then leads us to today. Llegado’s journey is eight years in the making, which goes to show that a rejection is ultimately a redirection to better things, as Llegado finally achieved her winning moment as Miss Supranational. 

She Has an Impressive Track Record

One thing to know about Katrina Llegado is that she is a powerhouse regardless of the competition she joins. Even before winning Miss Supranational 2026, she always placed as a finalist in every pageant she competed in. From Mutya ng Taguig to her two runs at Miss Universe Philippines, Llegado always made it to the last leg of the pageant, and sometimes even took home a handful of special awards along the way.  

She’s a Reservist in the Philippine Military

Aside from representing the Philippines at international pageants, Llegado also serves the country and her fellow Filipinos through her role as a Philippine Air Force military reservist. Graduating from the Reserve Force of the Philippine Air Force in 2023, Llegado was inspired to do so by her grandfather, who himself is in the military. And as opposite as they seem, Llegado has found a benefit to her military training with her pageantry work. “I learned how to stand up on my own and fight my own battles,” she shared in an interview with MEGA Asia last year. 

She Has Her Own Beauty Brand

Outside of pageantry, Llegado is also a businesswoman. Together with Arianne Amante, Llegado co-founded Clocheflame, a Filipino beauty brand that has built a cult following for its inclusive makeup shades and focus on affordable products that work well with the Filipina morena skin. The business also serves as an extension of Llegado’s advocacy to uplift, empower, and inspire women. 

One of Llegado’s frequent collaborations is with the organization Project PEARLS and their programs and initiatives in providing sustainable livelihoods and opportunities to women from Tondo, Manila. “Many assume that Miss Supranational is just a modeling competition. But Supranational is looking for a queen with advocacy, which is why I’m excited to bring Project PEARLS to the global stage,” shared the beauty queen with MEGA.

She Used to Work in Corporate Finance

Katrina Llegado is a woman of many skills. She’s a beauty queen, business owner, and even a financial analyst. Adding to Llegado’s impressive list of accomplishments is that she graduated cum laude from De La Salle University with a degree in Finance in 2018. In between her runs at pageants, Llegado previously worked as a Financial Reporting Analyst at Citibank and interned at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as a researcher.
