Voice for Everyone
At 19, Petcharat entered the world of pageantry, competing for the crown with grace, wit, and poise. In 2004, she won Miss Tiffany’s Universe, Thailand’s premier pageant for transwomen, and later made history as the first-ever Miss International Queen—the world’s biggest beauty pageant for transwomen.
With fame came opportunities in entertainment. Petcharat appeared in several films over the years, beginning with With Love in 2010. Her breakthrough came in 2013 with The White Storm, a crime-action film in which she portrayed a Thai drug dealer.

Though she hasn’t taken on new projects recently, her commanding presence in the industry continues to inspire and pave the way for other trans talents. Through her visibility and advocacy, she has illuminated the broader queer community and championed their fight for acceptance.
Queer Matters
Petcharat has long shared her personal journey regarding her transition, using her platform to advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights. In 2013, she participated in key panel discussions in Thailand, notably advocating for the legalization of same-sex marriage. While she may not be the sole reason for its passing, her contributions to the community have played a role in helping society embrace the queer community.

She also joined fellow trans activists and beauty queens in Pantene’s “See Beauty, Not Gender” campaign, amplifying stories from the queer community.
Committed to elevating marginalized voices, she continues to raise awareness and foster understanding of transgender people, helping reshape perceptions and create safer, more inclusive spaces for future generations.
