In a series of wacky and endearing photos on Instagram, Maine Mendoza finally drops the good news! She and actor Arjo Atayde are finally engaged!
Much is still to be told about the how of the proposal, but based on the post, Arjo prepared a set full of roses for his popping of the question!
The two started out as co-stars in the movie, “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles” with Vic Sotto and Coco Martin. According to a GMA article, Maine and Arjo would be spotted eating out together months before the premiere of the said movie.
In a press conference for his movie in 2019, the actor finally confirmed that he is in a relationship with the host-slash-celebrity.
Although rabid fans of the AlDub Nation were doubtful of Arjo’s intentions to Maine, Maine defended her “Bubs” and they proved that no bashing or fake news could drag their relationship down.
Based on their Instagram posts for each other’s birthdays and their anniversaries, laughter and travel are the keys to their strong relationship.
