For five years, LIKHA—short for Likha Ko, Lahi Ko—has brought Filipino artisans together to celebrate the richness of local craftsmanship and explore new possibilities for traditional crafts. More than a showcase of Filipino creativity, the initiative champions innovation and collaboration, helping strengthen the local creative economy while opening doors for Filipino-made creations to reach a global audience.

A Gathering of Filipino Artisans

Now in its fifth edition, LIKHA 5 continues to put the ingenuity of Filipino artisans in the spotlight, creating opportunities for makers from across the country, including those from geographically isolated and underserved communities. Over three days, workshops, live demonstrations, talks, and conversations with artisans offered opportunities to exchange knowledge, pass down traditional techniques, and inspire the next generation of Filipino makers.

Bringing together more than 100 artisans from across the Philippines, this year’s edition also marks a significant milestone with its new permanent home at the Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls within the International Trade Center along Roxas Boulevard. The space provides a dedicated platform for local crafts and a place where artisans and audiences can connect beyond the event itself.

The Makers Shaping Filipino Creativity

From emerging talents and breakthrough makers to LIKHA graduates and established legacy artisans and brands, the fifth edition reflects the breadth of Filipino artistry across generations. Each brings a distinct perspective to the country’s creative landscape, demonstrating how heritage and innovation can exist side by side.

For three days, lIKHA 5 invited artisans all over the country to share their craft

More than a celebration of Filipino craftsmanship, LIKHA 5 is a reminder that traditions are not meant to remain in the past. By giving artisans room to create, collaborate, and share their work with wider audiences, LIKHA helps ensure that Filipino crafts continue to evolve without losing the stories and cultural roots that make them unique. And with a permanent home to nurture this growing community, the future of Filipino artistry has even more room to flourish—both at home and on the global stage.
