Most pageant fans have devoted their time cheering and voting for their favorite candidates. Besides staying tuned to the performance of our bets this year, there is also the actual coronation night that most of us are looking forward to. And while we are waiting for the night that will officially declare our new queen, here are some things to expect during the coronation event:
The hosts of the night
This year, four hosts will lead the special night. Kapuso stars Xian Lim and Alden Richards will take on the main stage for the evening. The banter between the two gentlemen and even with the candidates is something to watch out for. Meanwhile, Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne and seasoned host Tim Yap will take us backstage to give us real-time updates on the ladies.

World-class performers
Next on the list are the two talented performers who have proven their knack for performance all over the world. American Idol finalist Jessica Sanchez will surely fire up the Miss Universe Philippines stage with her powerful vocals. Meanwhile, INFINITE’s Nam Woo-Hyun will serenade the audience with a soulful performance perhaps during the evening gown showcase.

An all-female roster of judges
Who else could better evaluate the performance of the delegates than queens themselves? For this year, we have the past contestants of Miss Universe as judges of the night. So far, we have Miss Universe 2015 2nd Runner-Up Olivia Jordan, Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete, and Miss Universe 1998 Wendy Fitzwilliam. Of course, there are still a few more names to watch out for in the coming days.

Special guests of honor
Adding more excitement to the coronation night will be the presence of esteemed individuals who are part of the Miss Universe Organization. First on the list is Anne Jakkapong Jakrajutatip, the owner of said organization. The reigning Miss Universe R’Bonney Nola will also grace the occasion to make it even more special for her fellow Filipinos. Finally, we will be graced by the longest-reigning Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi who won in 2019, to share her thoughts on the delegates for the night.

As of now, we all have our fingers crossed for our bets as they head on to the preliminaries next week.
