Last night, Rabiya Mateo took her final walk as our Miss Universe Philippines. After which, she crowned her predecessor, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, as the newest titleholder of Miss Universe Philippines. It was a very emotional night for Rabiya. She shared to the audience her struggles during the pandemic as a Miss Universe Philippines titleholder. Despite it all, she was able to persevere and make the most out of the experience. She was still able to learn a lot from the many countries, provinces, and cities she had visited during her reign. Lastly, she gave thanks to her fans, the Rabiyanatics, and her Miss Universe team for helping her along the way. We can’t wait to see what’s next in show business for our former Miss Universe Philippines. Although, while we wait let’s take a a trip down memory lane to her top 5 best looks in the past year.

Rabiya arrived in the United States for the Miss Universe pageant wearing a collaborative design effort by Chino Ledesma Christopherson and Marc Rancy. She was styled by Rainier Dragala and Em Millan.

On the night of the pageant, Rabiya wore a yellow one shoulder gown by Furne One Amato. She also wore custom earrings from LVNA by Drake Dustin. She may have not brought home the crown, but she was able to inspire Filipinas from all over the globe.
Blooming in Purple
Wearing Oliver Tolentino
After the Miss Universe pageant, Rabiya had her first official appearance in Los Angeles with the overseas Filipino community. She wore a darling number by Oliver Tolentino and wore jewels from LVNA by Drake Dustin.
One Last Time

Rabiya had her final photoshoot as Miss Universe Philippines while wearing GL Garlate. She donned the Miss Universe Philippines ‘Filipina’ crown, which she is the first owner of. She wore the same gown to the coronation night among many different outfits.
