This Luxury Jewelry’s Elegance Reflects on Environment Conservation

By

Beyond its renowned opulence and fine craftsmanship, Tiffany & Co. has been globally recognized for its commitment to preserving nature

The success of a luxury brand is much more celebrated when it goes beyond its glamorous mission. Enabled by the fashion industry’s movement to change the status quo, more fashion labels are showing acts of generosity. And as they are now giving back to the greater community, it is apt to turn the spotlight on their admirable feats. Even better, these initiatives are not only present on up-and-coming labels, but also in the well-established ones. One of those is Tiffany & Co.

Beyond its heightened standard, Tiffany & Co. also prides itself on a meaningful commitment to its philanthropic endeavors for the environment. Since its onset, the brand has been aware of its purpose, which is to serve the community. Hence, the genesis of the Tiffany & Co. Foundation.

Having the foundation as the brand’s subsidiary, the efforts to benefit seascapes and landscapes globally has been given focus. With this impact, the luxury brand both shines through its elegance toward its consumers and our planet.

Now, Tiffany & Co. Foundation enters its third decade in leading the efforts of environmental conservation, we are pleased to highlight their remarkable acts globally. First on the list is the organization’s support for Ocean protection. They have contributed to the creation of over 30 Marine Protected areas, protecting more than 11 million square kilometers across the world’s five oceans. This is just a start of their commitment to protect 30% of ocean life by 2030.

Moreover, the foundation’s involvement also includes safeguarding coral reefs. With locations located in Hawaii, Carribean, Australia, and the Coral Triangle, they also lead the charge in protecting coral reefs in over 30 countries.

Last but not least, Tiffany & Co. Foundation also joins landscape conversation. They have supported clean-up drives and restoration of abandoned diamond mines across West Africa, specifically in Sierra Leone. Their other grant recipients include Trout Unlimited, Clark Fork Coalition and the Conservation Lands Foundation.

Despite the overwhelming success of Tiffany & Co. in the luxurious sphere, their stand in making active contributions to the planet makes their mission statement much more evident. What’s even better is that they have already awarded over USD 100 million to support the world’s most treasured seascapes and landscapes, marking a major milestone since its inception.
