In an 80-square-meter boutique that features a white space brightly lit by crystal chandeliers, the designer himself flew to Manila and gave everyone a spectacular on-the-spot photoshoot of his pieces.
Epitomizing the oscillation between strength and grace, his Fall 2018 collection drew inspiration from a woman who enchants her life with her sensuality, color, and joie de vivre.
This led him to add a modern opulent twist to the character of each piece by highlighting glitter, elaborate beading, whimsical draping, loose silhouettes, and bold hues that does not hold back on the old world glamour.
As he also featured knits, fringes, embroideries, peony prints, laces and tulles, and even up to jeweled and velvet clutches, it just showed that Tadashi Shoji’s collection was expertly designed for the elegant woman who enjoys living life.

Tadashi Shoji’s first boutique in Manila is anow open at the 2nd level of Rustan’s Makati. The brand is also exclusively distributed in Rustan’s Shangri-La and Rustan’s Cebu.
