This event serves as a precursor to one of the sailing world’s most anticipated competitions—the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup. Scheduled to take place from August 22 to October 27, this prestigious event is often coined the “Formula 1 of the Sea”. Held around Barcelona’s Port Vell and stretch along the coast to Port Olímpic, the thrilling races promise high-octane excitement and stunning Mediterranean scenery.
In the previous Pre-Fall 2024 collection presented in Shanghai, Nicolas Ghesquière took us through resonant floral motifs and smart, lanky clothing in a juxtaposition of pristine and empty cold walls that mirrored a wildflower breaking through concrete. The collection featured a playful collaboration with artist Sun Yitian, whose colorful and lively designs brought an animalistic energy to the runway.

The Cruise 2025 show will be staged at Park Güell in Barcelona, located at Gràcia, 08024, Spain. This location becomes part of Louis Vuitton’s The Art of Travel. At its core, the Maison has a history of choosing world-renowned sites of architectural significance for its shows, celebrating local art and culture.
Barcelona is a suitable backdrop for this year’s collection. Lodged along the Mediterranean Sea, it is one of Europe’s most dynamic cities, known for its architectural wonders and cultural vibrancy. This latest stop in the Catalan capital promises to deliver a memorable experience, merging the grandeur of fashion with the soul of the city’s artistic legacy.
