More than K-pop and K-beauty, Korean fashion is undeniably a global obsession especially in Manila. Skipping Seoul Fashion Week to do a spectacular show in the Pearl of the Orient, Korean Designer Kwak Hyun Joo gave us a taste of Korean style last night. And having dressed several Korean celebrities like BLACKPINK’s Lisa, rookie singer Samuel, and SHINee’s Onew, one can already guarantee that all attendees were in for a treat.

Starting the third night of the Panasonic Manila Fashion Fest 2018, Kwak Hyun Joo showcased experimental streetwear aesthetic. She took street’s cool influence to a more glamorous route and gave us new wardrobe formulas to apply. From sporting an oversized shirt over an orange body suit to trading it with denim skirts paired with fishnet stockings.
Kwak Hyun Joo also highlighted a variety of bold colors of red, orange, and yellow partnering it with subdued hues of green and blue. With these vibrant color blocking that complemented the oversized sleeves and track pants, her sporty-infused collection surely made a strong case for a modern look.
