Granted, Madam Prada has been studying this subject longer than most. She once described a skirt as being “like a T-shirt” to her, and rarely does a collection pass without another interpretation joining her vocabulary. This season, that fluency comes through in midis cut with high slits, sheer and opaque fabrics layered together, and rhinestones applied with glorious abandon.
Up top, the styling stays deliberately straightforward with sweater vests, bra tops, button-downs, and jackets, punctuated by Prada bags, jewelry, and shoes, while models look charmingly disheveled throughout.

Of course, Prada didn’t devote an entire collection to skirts without assembling a guest list worthy of watching them swish past. TWICE’s Sana and NCT’s Jaehyun were there alongside XG’s Chisa, Lee Do-hyun, Win Metawin, Namtan Tipnaree, Yang Mi, and Li Xian. Hunter Schafer, Sadie Sink, Emilia Clarke, Naomi Watts, Michelle Williams, Gabrielle Union, Camila Mendes, Uma Thurman, and Maya Hawke brought Hollywood into the mix.

The festivities also continued after the show with a dinner at Prada Galleria in the presence of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, followed by a party at Deposito at Fondazione Prada. Many familiar faces from earlier in the day carried on into the night, with Alexa Chung, Charli D’Amelio, Naomi Ackie, and Dwyane Wade also in attendance.
For all the star power surrounding the occasion, though, its most memorable sight still had to be the runway. So, think you know skirts? Whichever side you fall on, Prada has stamped its own answer with a resounding yes.
