The striking red ensemble Rihanna wore for her Super Bowl halftime show is a designer extravaganza

After the five year stage drought, Rihanna came back with vengeance as she returned to the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show. She pulled off a thirteen minute long performance that perfectly encapsulated the singer’s outstanding talent and smashing charm when she performed her hit songs Where Have You Been and Only Girl (In the World). It undoubtedly brought the enthusiastic crowd back to the iconic era of Rihanna.

Social media is currently flooded with the singer’s performance as well as her look: an all red ensemble and we are here to break it down for you.

Rihanna takes elevated streetwear to the next level with her all red ensemble. She went on stage with a custom made billowed out puffer jacket by Alaïa which she then took off to show the half zipped red jumpsuit and latex bustier designed by Jonathan Anderson for Loewe. The detail we love the most here? The noticeable baby bump Rihanna proudly showed off.

To keep the red going, the singer matched it with a pair of red sneakers from a collaboration between MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon. Her overall look was tied perfectly together with her high ponytail and wispy side hairs and classic red lip makeup look.

The performance itself was memorable and worth the five-year wait, but we’re already getting ready for the possible hibernation era of Rihanna once again as she continues to house the little growing baby.
