Since 2011, OMEGA has been supporting Orbis International, a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating avoidable blindness.

This year, OMEGA is releasing two specially-designed 40mm Trésor watches to celebrate their longtime partnership. Portions of the watches’ sales will help fund organization’s famed Flying Eye Hospital, which provides medical solutions to the poorest regions in the world.

These special timepieces both sport domed gradient blue dials with polished hands and applied domed indexes in 18K white gold. What sets each one apart are the bezels: the Swiss brand offers a choice between the polished version or the diamond-set.

Both De Ville models come with blue leather straps, polished buckles and OMEGA’s luxury version of the Calibre 8511, with 18K red gold balance bridge. Add to this, each timepiece comes with OMEGA’s 5-year warranty, Certificate of Authenticity and a special presentation box with Orbis’ Teddy Bear mascot, which is given to all the young patients as support for their operations, as a key holder.

For those who purchase these watches, OMEGA has a heartwarming monthly reminder of their act of goodwill: the Orbis Teddy Bear replaces the number 8 on the date indicator.

In the season of giving and in a time where each action counts, these worthwhile timepieces make for truly luxurious gifts. They not only provide delight to those who receive them, but they also help another in a meaningful and life-changing way.
