From the Archives

The collection draws inspiration from a historic Tiffany & Co. necklace featuring lapis lazuli and pearls, famously worn by Rachel Lambert “Bunny” Mellon. An icon of effortless sophistication, Mellon’s discerning eye helped define a distinctly American approach to style. The new designs also take cues from the bold palettes of the Pop Art era, particularly the vibrant works of Andy Warhol. Together, these influences bring archival inspiration into the contemporary world of HardWear, pairing vivid color with the collection’s signature 18K gold links.

The Statement Suite

Comprising nine new designs, the collection’s hero suite features a statement necklace and matching drop earrings, where alternating turquoise beads and Akoya pearls are set against HardWear’s signature links. Another suite spotlights larger turquoise beads stationed throughout the links, creating a bolder interplay of color, texture, and form.

Among the standout pieces is a convertible 34-inch necklace, designed with two integrated clasps that allow it to be styled in multiple ways: as a long necklace, a double wrap, or a shorter necklace paired with a bracelet. Pyramid-shaped gold domes secure each stone, introducing a refined detail that complements the rounded geometry of HardWear’s signature beads and U-shaped links.

Everyday HardWear

Beyond these statement-making designs, the collection also offers more understated everyday styles, including pendants and earrings featuring either Akoya pearls or turquoise beads. Each carries the same distinctive design codes as the hero pieces, making the collection’s signature interplay of color and gold more versatile.

Turquoise, one of Tiffany & Co.’s longstanding legacy gemstones, takes center stage through carefully selected and color-matched beads that showcase a curated spectrum of exceptional natural blues. The Akoya pearls, meanwhile, are sustainably sourced from Japan and prized for their exceptional luster, rarity, and shape. Together, these materials reflect the House’s enduring commitment to gemstone excellence and meticulous craftsmanship.
