Wicker
After causing quite a stir on social media with its trailers earlier this year, the romantic fantasy is finally hitting local cinemas. It centers on a lonely fisherwoman (Olivia Coleman) who asks a basketmaker to weave her a husband. The result is a wicker man, played by Alexander Skarsgård, who unexpectedly rocks her world, but also that of the local village. See this for yourself exclusively in SM Cinemas on November 4.
The Cat in the Hat
Doing what he does best, the Cat spreads joy to kids in his hilarious, signature, and singularly irreverent way, transporting them on a fantastical journey through a world they’ve never seen before. In the film, our hero takes on his toughest assignment yet for the I.I.I.I. (Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC): to cheer Gabby and Sebastian, a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town.
Known for taking things too far, this could be this agent of chaos’s last chance to prove himself, or lose his magical hat. This animated adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic springs its way onto local cinemas on November 6.
How to Rob a Bank
In director David Leitch’s latest action spectacle, a crew of social media-savvy bank robbers broadcasts their daring heists, unaware that their growing viral fame has put them in the crosshairs of a veteran FBI agent and a brilliant software engineer. Club Kid
After a successful premiere at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, Jordan Firstman’s Club Kid is set to make its anticipated local theatrical debut this month. Catch this in cinemas on November 18.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping
It must be the 2010s again, because Hunger Games fever is back with a vengeance. The newest entry in the popular series follows a young Haymitch Abernathy as he participates in the 50th Hunger Games, which is notable for featuring double the tributes per district. While we know he wins, the movie will explore his experiences inside and outside the arena that scar him for life and end up planting the seeds of rebellion that will spark 25 years later. The film will come to cinemas on November 18.
Status: Rejected
Most of us are aware of the stereotype of young Filipinas who date foreigners. But what happens when that is shown through the perspective of a woman of a certain age? You get this Cinemalaya 2026 standout from Vahn Leinard Pascual about 69-year-old Biring, whose dream of a better life in America is dashed once more after her US visa application is rejected for the fourth time.
This leads her to online dating, where she meets a man named Steve who makes her feel loved and seen. If you missed it during the independent festival’s run, now’s your chance to catch it when it begins its nationwide release on November 18.

As they get older, the two become close friends as they face life’s different challenges. The Japanese film will come exclusively to SM Cinemas on November 25.
Focker In-Law
The Meet the Parents franchise gets a new sequel in this comedy about Greg and Pam Focker’s now-grown son, Henry, who wants to propose to his girlfriend, Olivia, played by none other than Ariana Grande. Hexed
Disney’s latest animated feature dives into the world of witches. Billie is not like the other girls, mainly because she has magical powers.
