Grace Coddington has always had a knack for turning the ordinary into something slyly charming—whether sketching on notepads at her office or letting her cats, Pumpkin and Blanket, pad their way into the pages of high fashion. Now, she’s back at it with Louis Vuitton, in a capsule titled Travels With Grace Coddington, where felines, fold-flat trunks, and plum-colored nylon converge into one witty take on stylish travel.

Made for the Long Haul
Coddington’s cats have long been her muses, and this time Blondie, Blanket, and Jimi go globetrotting. They hop from Sydney to the Amazon, pop up on patches styled like vintage trunk labels, and even shoot for the stars—literally embroidered onto pieces that imagine them on a trip to space. It’s playful, yet still in line with Louis Vuitton’s roots: the art of travel told through both fantasy and craft.

The capsule isn’t limited to accessories. Midi dresses in signature LV prints, pajama sets chic enough to outshine office wear, and flat shoes made for airport sprints speak to Coddington’s idea of comfort with wit intact. Cashmere, silk, and cotton are materials chosen for their ease and their indulgence.

Travel With Surprise
Of course, the heart of the collection is in the bags. The legendary Keepall arrives in plum nylon, designed to fold completely flat before expanding into its full jet-setting glory. Vintage Canvas accessories nod to the woven linen and cotton used on trunks at the turn of the 20th century, while new kits and pouches make compartmentalizing look like an art form. Then, there’s Coddington’s pièce de résistance: a secretary trunk modeled after the historic Stokowski version, fitted with an easel, drawers for brushes and pencils, and—naturally—a spot for her cats.

For all its whimsy, Travels With Grace Coddington is elevated by the sketches, motifs, and humor of one of fashion’s most beloved creative minds. It’s luggage you can live with, clothes you can lounge in, and accessories that remind you travel is as much about imagination as it is about miles.
