MEGA Editor-in-Chief Peewee Reyes Isidro Unveils the Vision Behind the MEGA Woman Club

MEGA has spent over three decades celebrating women and their power. Now, it’s taking the mission further with the launch of the MEGA Woman Club. It stands as MEGA’s latest chapter in championing advocacies of the Southeast Asian woman—driving culture, challenging norms, and carving paths where none existed. At the launch, MEGA Editor-in-Chief Peewee Reyes-Isidro officially welcomed the club’s inaugural members, reminding the room why MEGA has always been more than just a magazine.

The Milestones That Made MEGA

“In the last three decades, you’ve known MEGA as the Philippines’ best fashion magazine, marked by having an established authority on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and offering content that is aspirational, inspirational, and deeply meaningful,” Reyes-Isidro began.

Taking guests back to MEGA’s fearless beginnings, the Editor-in-Chief honored the brand’s late founder Sari V. Yap, and traced its legacy of bold covers, creative collaborations, and careers sparked into stardom.

From the coffee table book pages of MEGA Stories: The Philippines’ Most Iconic to the engaging activities of MEGA BeautyCon and the powerhouse roster in the MEGA Woman 100 Book, one thing is clear: MEGA has a long history of lifting women higher, louder, and more unapologetically than ever.

Asia in Focus

“Now that MEGA has been introduced to Asia, we are presented with a great opportunity to carry its eye for discovering creatives and upholding its purpose to transform women’s lives throughout its journey,” Reyes-Isidro declared, framing MEGA’s new mission in 2025 and the years to come.

This year marks MEGA’s official dive into storytelling that resonates with the Southeast Asian market

Guests turned their gaze to MEGA’s February cover of 2025—the Community Issue—fronted by Atty. Leni Robredo. March followed with Thai superstar Davika Hoorne, while April will bring together Pia Wurtzbach and Vietnam’s Ho Ngoc Ha, marking a new era of regional influence.

Fashion will always be the fabric of the magazine, but as the Editor-in-Chief made clear, the stitching runs deeper now. “We will continue to sharpen our expertise in creating meaningful stories centered on fashion, to enrich our three-decade publishing legacy with a point of view that is empowering, visually fun, and current,” she shared.

Buy beyond the gloss, MEGA knows that going bigger means stepping up. Reyes-Isidro underscored the staggering cost of gender disparity in Southeast Asia alone—trillions lost, voices unheard, and change overdue.

“With this in mind, MEGA recognizes the responsibility to take action towards eliminating the disparity as a platform with an audience that is 80 percent female.”

This is where the MEGA Woman Club steps in. The Editor-in-Chief rallied the room, reminding every woman of the influence she holds—be it in fashion, beauty, sports, or business. It was undeniable: the future of Asian women’s advocacy starts now, and it starts with them.
