On a serene Wednesday morning, another era of women-led change began. Behind the doors of the ever-artful Manila House, MEGA invited a dynamic group of Southeast Asian women for a powerful culmination of Women’s Month. The MEGA Woman Club was officially in motion—an exclusive circle where industry leaders, creatives, and changemakers come together to break barriers and drive progress for women across industries. With each conversation and connection made in that room, another heavy door swung open, not just to an exclusive community, but to a movement led by women, for women.

The Inaugural ‘MEGA Woman Club’
The MEGA Woman Club is the first of its kind—a collective of influential women, from industry leaders to passionate advocates. Together, they are driven by a singular mission: to ignite tangible change for women everywhere.

As part of this exclusive circle, members will enjoy access to a range of curated experiences: forums, pocket events, and other initiatives designed to foster collaboration and progress. Along with special subscription forums, event passes, and PR boxes, the MEGA Woman Club is defined not by its perks, but the gateway it provides toward an empowering network and a platform for real impact.

This event marked the grand reveal of the MEGA Woman Club. For the first time, women from diverse backgrounds came together as co-members, ready to ignite fresh ideas, forge powerful collaborations, and fuel a movement destined to leave a lasting impact.
The Day in Keepsakes
Every corner offered something to experience, from moments worth capturing to little luxuries that made the day memorable.

Over at the Myra E Vignette Booth, guests stepped into the space to take their photos and left with self-care essentials in hand to keep the glow going.

Luxe Beauty and Wellness kept everyone refreshed with a selection of healthy sips and sweets from macchiatos and fruit-infused refreshments to desserts that added a sweet touch to the day’s conversations.

Pandora’s claw machine drew in guests with the thrill of the unexpected. Each prize—whether a piece of jewelry or an empowering keepsake—was a small but shining reminder of strength and style.
What better way to make the moment last than with a scent to take home? At the Tally Perfume Bar, guests explored signature fragrances, leaving with a bottle of their chosen scent and a reminder of the empowering day.
The ‘Modern Mod’ Code
The women got the style memo, arriving in stylish modern mod—sleek in black and white, and accented with a pop of color to punctuate the look.

The dress code was a nod to the 1960s, an era of change and challenged norms. A case of fashion mirroring social revolution, the monochrome sophistication grounded the look, while bold pops of colors—neon heels, scarlet bags, emerald earrings—cut through the quiet shades.

Words of Welcome and Empowerment
As the lively conversations settled, all eyes turned to wellness coach, author, podcaster, and content creator Stephanie Zubiri as she stepped onto the stage as the morning’s host.

With a warm welcome, she set the scene for the day, announcing the launch of the inaugural MEGA Woman Club—an exclusive space for powerful female changemakers set on driving meaningful impact in their respective industries.
To officially begin, Zubiri welcomed MEGA’s Editor-in-Chief Peewee Reyes-Isidro to deliver her opening remarks and set the tone for the empowering day ahead.

Reyes-Isidro first guided guests on a journey through time, highlighting MEGA’s trailblazing milestones over the years—from becoming the first glossy fashion magazine in the Philippines to championing Filipino creatives, releasing groundbreaking books, and telling the powerful stories of fashion and culture that shaped the industry.
Then, she turned the page to MEGA’s future and mission for 2025. “Though impactful editorial themes and initiatives, we will continue to support causes that matter to every Asian woman, she shared, grounding her words in a recent UN Women study on gender inequality in Southeast Asia and beyond.

“With this in mind, MEGA recognizes its responsibility to act—especially as a platform with an audience that is 80 percent female,” she continued. “It’s time to go deeper into understanding who the Asian woman is, and celebrate her in ways that truly make her feel seen and heard.”
A Power Panel
The heart of the morning was a panel that brought together four inspiring women, each an influential leader in her own field.

The speakers for this powerful panel included the Head of Corporate Strategy of Grab Grace Vera Cruz, a seasoned business leader in mobility and technology across Southeast Asia. Next was Savina Chow, a leader in fashion and beauty, and founder of Blunies, which revolutionizes digital beauty by championing Asian beauty brands and mentors young entrepreneurs.

Representing the realm of health was wellness entrepreneur and co-founder of Moom Health Mili Kale, who merges science and traditional healing to redefine women’s wellness and mental health in Asia. Lastly, MEGA invited Korina Sanchez-Roxas, a veteran broadcast journalist and public service advocate who uses her platform to empower communities through storytelling and impactful initiatives.
In an inspiring discussion, these women shared their insights on three powerful topics: the evolving role of women in Asia, how they’ve shattered gender norms in their respective fields, and the key to empowering the next generation of Asian women leaders.
To enrich the conversation further, MEGA flew in panel speakers Chow and Kale from Singapore, ensuring they arrived in unrivaled luxury aboard the Mercedes-Benz V-Class V220—a paragon of space, comfort, and elegance, primed for the exceptional conversations that followed.
A Gathering of Minds and Tastes
After the dynamic panel, guests indulged in a sumptuous lunch at the Manila House Private Club, where the food was rich and energizing as the conversations. Here, amidst the clinking of glasses and shared stories, new bonds were formed, and old friendships reignited.

Guests also took home gift bags from the team, a token of gratitude for their attendance at the first MEGA Woman Club Assembly. This included products from Pixi Beauty, Belo Essentials, Luxx Lash, and a copy of MEGA Magazine’s March 2025 issue.

Such happenings, in hindsight, marked more than the grand launch of the MEGA Woman Club. It was about sparking something much deeper—a movement, a collective energy, and a new chapter for these women.

And this was just the beginning. As the day unfolded, they were treated to an evening of sunset cocktails and more activities that would carry the momentum forward.
