As temperatures rise, the sights and sounds of summer begin to emerge: the sweet smell of blooming flowers, the sound of chirping birds, and the warm breeze that fills the air—all beckoning us to embrace the season and enjoy its many offerings. One such offering is the opportunity to indulge in leisurely picnics and breathtaking sunsets. With the warmer weather comes a renewed sense of adventure, and we are more than ready to bask in the excitement of summer.

Recently, Skin Magical, a brand known for its simple and affordable beauty solutions, launched a new line of beauty drinks called ORI-GEE. The launch event titled “Summers & Sunsets” was held last March 22 at the scenic view deck of the second level in One Bonifacio High Street Mall. The location had all the accouterments of a sunset picnic, offering guests a stunning view of the sun dipping below the horizon and the surrounding city skyline.

The event featured the founders of Skin Magical, Jerry and Ghie Pangilinan, who shared the early days of their entrepreneurial success story to close friends, content creators, and the MEGA team in attendance. “Nag-start kami sa 7,000 pesos way back in 2013,” said Ghie. From a small online business based in Morong, Rizal, Skin Magical is now one of the most sought after beauty brands in the country.

As of now, the brand continues to hit milestone after milestone, with 60 franchises, 120 distributors, 10,000 active resellers, and 10,000,000 products sold.

Vibrant flowers adorned the stage for a picnic-ready scene

The stage was grand and majestic, adorned with flowers that seemed to be climbing up the backdrop. Zooming out, the blooms that decorated the stage were a combination of wildly vibrant flowers, effectively bringing the outdoors inside. Long tables were also set up, each one decorated with flower arrangements reminiscent of summer sunsets. The overall effect created a sense of magic and wonder, transporting the guests to a world of enchantment.

Also dressed in florals were guests who participated in a flat lay photography contest as part of the event’s activities. Aptly packaged in picnic baskets, ORI-GEE beauty drinks were the star of the show. Inside these beauty elixirs, however, another set of stars shines. Through ingredients such as collagen and melatonin, customers of the brand can get healthy, glowing skin. ORI-GEE drinks come in four different flavors: Creamy Mango On-the-go, Kiwi Glow-tathione, White Chocolate Mocha, and Vietnamese Coffee.
