At this year’s GMA Gala, makeup artist Carissa Cielo Medved leans further into the fantasy, playing a beat so delicate, it felt like fine china come to life. Here’s the full breakdown.

The Princess Wears Pink

Waltzing in wearing a pink Anthony Ramirez piece just sealed the fantasy with a kiss. The shade, the cut, the ballgown silhouette was practically royal protocol.

But zoom in (as we all did, shamelessly), and you’ll see a more alluring kind of glow. That glassy, regal look looked straight out of a slow-motion K-drama scene where the princess is about to change her fate. And when we asked her makeup artist for the lowdown, we were happily proven right.

“We were inspired by K-Drama and K-Pop stars’ fresh and dewy skin with a soft flush for that radiant, glass-skin glow,” Medved tells MEGA.

And lest we forget the pin-straight hair which helped build the fantasy. “It paired perfectly with her minimalist gown, keeping the whole look effortlessly chic and modern with a touch of luxe.”
