The seven-member girl group is composed of members Eurekah, Ella, Dominique, Tin, Megumi, Lei, and Namie and takes its name from a mix of Sonar, Sora, and Narra, a reflection of their Filipino roots and musical ambitions. MEI MEI – Hello Po From the P-Pop Girl Group

Mei Mei

Concertgoers are familiar with the name PULP, the production company that has brought several rock and K-pop concerts to the country. But what many may not know is that they also run a record label called Groovy Garden Records, and they just debuted their first-ever girl group. With a colorful, fresh, and playful perspective rooted in Filipino culture, MEI MEI stands out for all the right reasons in how they radiate Filipino energy. Case in point: the eight-member girl group composed of members Jhamayka, Dina, Alexa, Aerise, Yuni, Thea, Jessie, and Ada takes their name from the Chinese term for little sister and Filipinos’ tendency to repeat names.

It’s still early days for this up-and-coming artist, but they already have an earworm under their belt with their catchy debut single Telebong (Hello Po). True to the group’s aesthetic, the song is dripping in Filipino nostalgia with its reference to the classic game familiar to parents and grandparents, but presented through modern pop production.

VVINK – Young Ladies Here for the Wins

Vvink Filipino girl group

With the backing of local music production powerhouse FlipMusic Productions, VVINK (pronounced wink) has been on the rise, shaping, honing, and evolving their sound and style rooted in joy and resilience. The group, which is composed of members Angelica, Jean, Odri, Ayaka, and Mariel, recently dropped their debut studio album, It Starts With A Wink – The First Full Album, which showcases their creative growth and artistic identity. As a sign of their rising star status, VVINK was included in the Spotify RADAR Philippines class of 2026, joining breakout acts such as fitterkarma and HEY JUNE!.

This rookie P-pop girl group is a family affair as it is composed of sisters Tasha, Julia, and Ezri Mitra, also known as the Mitra sisters, under Star Pop. The trio made their debut in October 2025 with Don’t Ask Me Why. With a storied family legacy that includes being the daughters of musical director Raul Mitra and singer Cacai Velasquez-Mitra and the nieces of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, DNA brings the talent, cohesion, and their own story to the P-pop scene.

RAYA – Making Waves With Fresh Confidence and Style

Raya

This P-pop girl group under Viva made a strong first impression with their debut single Bling in 2025. As the song’s title suggests, these young ladies shone with confidence as they made their entry into P-pop. Since then, RAYA, which takes its name from the work hiraya, has steadily been making a name for themselves in the industry with their fusion of dance, pop, and hip-hop. Ash, Jemima, Anna, Priscilla, Aviona, Rona, Kash, and Abel are becoming familiar faces to P-pop fans.

FINA – The Beauty of Being Yourself

Fina Filipino girl group

FINA, which stands for “fine as you are” and is currently under Universal Records Philippines, Galaxy Talent Management, and CreaZion Studios Artists, is meant to represent the modern Filipina. It’s a trait seen from the group’s five members, Anika, Nala, Chill, Cia, and Heaven, as they embark on their journey in the local music scene with their debut earlier this year.

For their debut single Paramdam, the members channeled different Philippine mythological creatures but through the lens of the Filipina of today, leading to one of the more unique P-pop debuts in recent years. Interestingly, there aren’t any assigned roles in the group, allowing each member to let their authenticity shine and share a message of being your own person.

HARA – On the Rise From Mindanao

Hara

Filipina talent can be found all over the country, such as this girl group from Davao City. HARA, which is composed of members Yani, Blythz, Ai, Ckhy, Lory, and Tashi, is currently in their pre-debut stage but is already showing potential by expanding P-pop’s presence beyond Metro Manila.

Managed by Unique Music Management and signed to Sony Music Philippines, the group takes their name from the pre-colonial Filipino term meaning beauty and strength, and a play on the word Raja, a title given to Filipino royalty during the pre-colonial era. They dropped their debut single My Love last February, which talks about the importance of self-love and how a woman’s worth is more than just her romantic relationships.

DNA is composed of sisters Tasha, Julia, and Ezri Mitra — daughters of musical director Raul Mitra and singer Cacai Velasquez-Mitra. Their connection to Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is familial: the Filipino pop icon is their aunt, making DNA’s debut a continuation of a prominent musical legacy.

HARA is from Davao City in Mindanao, making them one of the few P-pop acts based outside Metro Manila. The group is managed by Unique Music Management and signed to Sony Music Philippines. Their name references a pre-colonial Filipino term meaning beauty and strength.

Paramdam is FINA’s debut single, released under Universal Records Philippines. The concept draws on Philippine mythological creatures as metaphors for different aspects of the modern Filipina. The group’s approach — no assigned member roles — is designed to let each member’s individual personality anchor her own narrative within the concept.
