As one of the most talked-about sporting events of the year, the 2026 Super Bowl wasn’t short on memorable moments. From the Seattle Seahawks’ win, Bad Bunny’s multicultural halftime show dance party, and big-budget ads, such as Pokémon’s star-studded commercial celebrating their 30th anniversary, the Super Bowl brings together both sports fans and non-sports fans alike.
And with its massive audience also comes the fact that the Super Bowl serves as a great place for studios to debut new trailers of their upcoming films. That was the case again this year as the Big Game saw some of the biggest movies of 2026 drop new teasers, trailers, and even first looks. Check them out below.

Hoppers – The Animal Kingdom Through the Pixar POV
What would you do if you could talk to animals? That’s the premise of this original Pixar movie that centers on a young animal lover named Mabel who transfers her consciousness into a robotic beaver, allowing her to converse with animals. As she integrates herself within the animal kingdom, Mabel discovers secrets and mysteries beyond her imagination. Catch this in local cinemas on March 4.
Project Hail Mary – A High School Teacher and His Alien Friend Save the World
From directors Phil Lord & Christopher Miller comes a new space-faring adventure starring Ryan Gosling. In the new trailer, we learn more about the movie’s protagonist, science teacher Ryland Grace, and his mission to solve what’s killing the sun and save humanity. But he isn’t alone on his harrowing mission, though, as he encounters a mysterious creature he forms a bond with and names Rocky. Together, they must save the world before it’s too late. The movie will be released in local cinemas on March 18.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu – This Is the Way
The adventures of the Mandalorian and Grogu are heading to the big screen in the first Star Wars movie in years. While the new teaser doesn’t reveal much in terms of its story, we do see a location that is familiar to many Star Wars fans: Hoth, as the two move through the icy planet’s terrain in a sled pulled by TaunTauns. Watch this in local cinemas on May 20.
Disclosure Day – The Truth Will Be Revealed
After 4 years, Steven Spielberg has a new movie hitting the silver screen, and this time, he’s back to doing science fiction. Starring Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor, Disclosure Day is a sci-fi thriller that imagines how the world would react if it were given proof that aliens are real. Considering that it’s been a while since we’ve had a big-budget summer blockbuster from Steven Spielberg, it will be interesting to see what he has to offer this time. The movie will land in local cinemas on June 10.
Supergirl – Kara’s Time in the Spotlight
The latest entry in the DCU puts the spotlight on Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, and her decidedly more chaotic life as compared to her superpowered cousin. In the Super Bowl spot, we get glimpses of Kara’s life on her home planet of Krypton, including meeting her dog, Krypto, for the first time. The film teases an action-packed adventure as Kara helps a young woman complete a personal quest that brings them on a collision course with the bounty hunter Lobo. It will screen in local cinemas on June 24.
Minions & Monsters – The Minions Meet Kaijus
At this point, the Minions from the Despicable Me franchise are pop culture icons in and of themselves. This year, a new chapter of their story will be told in Minions & Monsters. This time, they find themselves in Hollywood wanting to make a monster movie. So how do they do that? In typical Minions fashion, by summoning Cthulhu for help and find actual monsters. The movie will be released in local cinemas on June 30.

David Fincher and Brad Pitt reunite in this sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (yes, you read that right). The movie sees Brad Pitt reprise his Oscar-winning role as Cliff Booth and will center on his work as a Hollywood fixer. Expect this one to be gritty, dramatic, and darkly comedic. The movie will stream on Netflix, but no release date has been revealed as of this writing.
