Hosts have always done the heavy lifting during Christmas gatherings. They’re the Monica Geller of real life—ensuring ornaments are evenly spaced, festive upholstery flows seamlessly from the front door to the backyard, and the feast is ready for a crowd of 20 or more. But beyond the logistics, hosts are also curators of atmosphere—crafting a space that whispers festive elegance rather than blinding guests like an overstimulating lighthouse.

Making holiday hosting feel more dreamy than daunting, creative platform Art House introduces the Cosmic Collection, featuring works by pioneering Filipino artist Nena Saguil. First unveiled during SaliNlahi: Connecting The Dots exhibition last September, the collection spans plate chargers, coasters, placemats, throw pillows, luggage tags, scarves, and tote bags—each adorned with Saguil’s blue-and-yellow abstractions.
“We wanted to highlight Nena Saguil’s resonance across generations,” shared Art House entrepreneur and art collector Carlo Pineda. “Connecting with younger audiences was essential, which is why we developed a merchandise collection. Ultimately, our goal is to amplify Saguil’s contributions to Filipino creativity and identity. She is a master—a pioneering Filipina artist who pursued her craft independently while remaining deeply rooted in who she was.”
The Cosmic Collection is available in the Art House website. It will also be available at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila and the Ayala Museum in 2026. Follow their Instagram page for more information.
