So You Want to be A Victoria’s Secret Angel for Halloween?

This is how you nail the look, as seen on Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025.

By

Was it a strategic move for Victoria’s Secret (VS) to schedule their 2025 fashion show with a spooky holiday right around the corner? We’ll never know, really. Be it intention or coincidence, the effect has already been set in motion: it’s inevitable that women are bound to dress up this year as glamorous VS Angels. After all, if there’s one perfect night someone can channel their inner supermodel to confidently strut into parties, it’s Halloween.

Now, let’s be realistic. This is not a low-effort look. It’s so much more than just wearing lingerie, putting on some wings, and calling it a day. There has to be commitment. The VS Angel costume is not for the person who gives up after the first glue-gun blister. You need an imaginative concept and a little bit of engineering. Fortunately, the 2025 runway show gave us trends to guide your DIY masterpiece.

Bling It On

If you must take one piece of advice from this year’s show, let it be that you must sparkle enough to be visible from space. This is your chance to repurpose costume jewelries, forgotten brooches, and chunky chandelier earrings. The bigger they are, the better (since it saves you time and increases impact).

Dangling Delight

If wearing a bejeweled piece is too heavy or overstimulating, have you considered letting your accessories dangle instead? The fringe trend carried over to Victoria’s Secret catwalk as liquid gold and icy silver tassels. Attach multiple lengths of metallic trim or chain to your two-piece. You’re likely to hit a few strangers when you make a sharp turn, but that’s the cost of being fabulous.

The Angel Effect

This is the part where your inner artist can stretch because no Victoria’s Secret Angel is complete without her halo and “wings”. Get creative and play around with headdresses like constellation crowns or feathery caps. Experimenting with materials for the wings is guaranteed to make heads turn, too.

In The Details

The final step to truly distinguish yourself is the insignia. Big or small, the brand’s initials are part of the look now. Consider adding a VS logo on your belt, or go all out with the chainmail. It might be more time-consuming to pull this off, but the effort is very much worth it since Halloween only comes once a year.

With the addition of your unflinching confidence, the outfit is finally complete. All that’s left to do is the bombshell hair and makeup, and you’re good to go. Now, lock in your supermodel gaze, summon your best strut, and own every room you plan on going to.
