It’s that time of the year once again. Cooler climes are upon us, and Christmas is just around the corner. What’s new in fashion? The Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collections show us varied, enticing looks that veer away from what’s been trending for many years: quiet luxury. Although that’s still apparent on many runways, an eclectic shift to styles that accentuate with a lace ruffle, wild print or glassy beads is more à la mode.

We’ve rounded up trends that represent the best of the best, and the most fun pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe.

The Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collections show us varied, enticing looks that veer away from what’s been trending for many years: quiet luxury.

1 LACED DETAILS

This trend was all over the Fall/Winter 2025 runways and isn’t going anywhere soon. Whether on dresses at Gucci or worn as pants in Stella McCartney, lace was seen in abundance. It was also featured on Nina Ricci and Ferragamo, and appeared in a palette of colors at Saint Laurent. At Chloe, they were delicate and flowing and swaying effortlessly.

2 SEQUINS AND BEADS

At Fendi, generous sprinklings of paillettes, sequins and glass beads were seen on bodices and entire dresses. They jumped out from a clean and ladylike and neutral-colored collection like showers of candy. Dries Van Noten showed fully sequined cuff-like necks that flowed down to fully embellished dresses. Beaded apron tops also peeked out from under coat suits. Jewels embellished wrap-waist sleeveless tops, coats and dresses, while sequins also peeked from the waistband of pants.

3 CHECKS , PLAIDS, AND TARTANS

Nobody does checks, plaids and tartans like Burberry, which showed the patterns on everything from full coats to umbrellas to peeking out at just one inch from under the hem of a sweater. Blue and white checked prints also came out at Bally. The quintessential prints are part of various collections’ button-down shirts and can also be found on bags, such as LOEWE x Paula’s Ibiza Font Gingham Tote Bag.

4 FUNNEL NECKS

Funnel neck jackets are big this season, and will continue to be a trend for next summer. At Stella McCartney a zipped jacket made of grey wool in a loop design has funnel-neck vibes. At Chloe, a leather and fur funnel neck jacket and a leather maroon funnel neck parka are perfect for vacationing in cold climes. Victoria Beckham also includes funnel neck designs in neutral colors for the Fall, as do Khaite, Diane Von Furstenberg and Sacai.

5 HATS

Hats are essential for cold weather, and although we aren’t used to seeing them in Manila yet, a few fashion-forward people might actually sport them out and about at an event near you. The pillbox hat inspires designers this season, from Loro Piana to Sportmax. Variations of hats in, for example, fur, are available at brands like Etro.
