So, here’s the golden question: under the sun, across the greens—how do you fall for golf, the game? Malbon might just have the answer: a perfect blend of competition and community. Welcome to Buckets Club, their very own golf group and their inaugural flagship tournament, Bucket Clubs 001.

Function met form in the breezy cuts of the brand’s country club prep collection, letting style flow seamlessly into the game. Golf novices and veterans alike stepped onto the fairway in mint green, salmon pink, and olive—polos (sleeved or not) paired with airy mini skirts. Every swing came with a flash of Malbon’s pearl-white caps and gloves.

Set across a sweeping 161 hectares covering both the Palmer and Player Courses at the Orchard Golf and Country Club, the tournament welcomed a diverse mix of athletes, creatives, and community builders for a full-day celebration—seamlessly balancing sport, culture, and connection.

While the name Buckets Club leans towards playful, the execution was nothing short of intentional. From check-in to the final swing, players were immersed in a thoughtfully curated experience: branded player kits, on-course brand activations, and stylish, photo-ready touch-points across the fairways.

“Buckets Club is a celebration of golf culture—and a vision for where it’s headed,” shares the Malbon Philippines team. “It’s about bringing people together from all walks of life, with the green as our common ground.”

And a shared space goes further than the last stroke. Players and guests got to enjoy the Buckets Club Lounge, a curated social space featuring smooth house and R&B tunes from DJ Yggi, custom cocktails, a 1-of-1 Malbon Pro Shop, and immersive brand moments that kept the energy flowing well past sunset.

Far from a one-off, Buckets Club 001 marks the first in a series of elevated tournament experiences under the Buckets Club umbrella. Moving forward, all Buckets Club events will require official membership to participate. Buckets 002 is already slated for the 10th of September at Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club.

With each edition, expect the experience to evolve. With each iteration, a valid excuse to hit the greens in style.
