You could almost smell the story. Clad in a custom Rian Fernandez gown inspired by Surf Fabcon Luxe’s romantic rose scent, Shuvee Etrata arrived wrapped in perfume poetry made wearable. And it seemed the concept didn’t stop at the ensemble, as the rising star moved with a golden morena beat that mirrored the gown’s blooming theme. Here, we break down the floral fantasy—from style to beauty—that made her one to watch.

A Fragrant Rose Made Visible

The look unfolded in two layers—first, a pristine white silhouette adorned with meticulously hand-embroidered glass crystals and beaded roses. Feminine, but not fragile. Ethereal, but grounded in craftsmanship. Then came the drama: a deep red, fabric-manipulated shawl draped like a blooming rose in motion.

Styled by Cath Sobrevega, Mika Alejo, and Jem Arboleda, Shuvee wore her diamonds deliberately: delicate bracelets from Mix Gems Fine Jewelry stacked alongside bold pieces from JMA Jewelry.

The scent may have been invisible, but the mood it inspired was unforgettable.

Breaking Down the Blooming Beat

Her hair, slicked back by Dale Mallari, and her makeup, dewy with a healthy flush by Thazzia Falek, brought the whole look full circle—feminine, luxe, and ever-so-commanding. Falek breaks down the anatomy of her bloom.

The inspiration? All natural. All Shuvee.

“The inspiration behind her glam is honestly her natural beauty,” Falek tells us. “The outfit and styling already carried a lot of presence; there was a quiet confidence to the whole look. Instead of going bold on every element, we chose to let her skin, her eyes, and her energy take center stage.”

Falek gave the look a name: Soft Power. Because while she traded her pre-gala red lip for a more muted look, restraint has a unique, different kind of impact. “It’s quiet luxury with intention. It lets her confidence speak louder than any bold color could.”
