Here’s how to kickstart your ‘-ber’ months: watch a good Netflix movie then look up for another movie that interests you. Netflix already released two trailers for an upcoming film. Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, Noah Baumbach gives us the right mix of comedy and drama with the new Netflix movie, Marriage Story.
Golden Globe-nominee, Scarlett Johansson and Academy Award-nominee, Adam Driver, whom we’ve seen in two of the most iconic roles, will star in the Marriage Story. Drifting apart from their notable image as MCU’s Black Widow and Star Wars’ Kylo Ren, respectively, Scarlett and Adam will play in the incisive and compassionate portrait of marriage breaking up and family staying together.
“Marriage Story is a love story that reveals itself within the breakdown. With these companion trailers I wanted to show the relationship through the eyes of both characters,” says Noah Baumbach. “There are many sides to every story, and the movie embraces these different viewpoints in order to find the shared truth.”
While we wait for it to hit the theaters and the streaming giant, Netflix, the movie teases us with two different trailers, entitled “What I Love About Nicole” and “What I Love About Charlie”. On the two trailers, we can hear Scarlett and Adam doing narrations for each of their characters.
Bound to be a successful movie, Marriage Story is selected to take part in distinguished film festivals. It is set to have a special presentation at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, world premiere in competition at the Venice International Film Festival, and Centerpiece selection at the 57th New York Film Festival.
