This is the kind of woman that Longchamp had in mind when designing their Fall/Winter 2019 collection, the La Voyageuse. It’s perfect for women who lead a jet set lifestyle and still want to be stylish. The collection is aptly called La Voyageuse which means “The Traveller” in French.
Sophie Delafontaine’s, Longchamp Creative Director, inspiration for this collection is the vanity case of the past. One of the styles they have perfected is the hand-carry bag or small tote bag that can be brought anywhere while strolling into an airport lounge, or even on board a plane.
The La Voyageuse small tote bag exudes luxury and elegance even with its compact size. Each detail plays a part in its signature style: maxi-chapes-shaped like gothic arches, and the tapered rivets that create a rich three-dimensional effect. It’s made from supple calfskin with adjustable and removable shoulder strap that can be worn as a small handbag or as a cross-body bag. Its final touch is its long zipper that extends over the outer compartment.
The La Voyageuse embodies the Longchamp woman who is always in pursuit of spontaneous adventures, independent, and has a refined taste in style.
Apart from the small tote bag, other must-haves are the large La Voyageuse tote, small cross-body bag with removable shoulder strap, and the minimalist vertical tote with removable handles.
