No Backup
“I knew I wanted to become an actress when I was young,” she recalled. Fans know her beginnings well: she entered the industry as a P-pop idol, training in both singing and dancing. It was her entry point—but all the while, Ashtine quietly prayed it would lead her toward where her heart truly belonged.
“I didn’t have a backup plan,” the actress admitted. “Honestly, I couldn’t imagine not acting.” It was her biggest risk. With no safety net beneath her, Ashtine dove headfirst into the industry with a single conviction: it had to be all or nothing. And, in time, she chose right.
Faith and Pixie Dust
When asked how she navigated fear and doubt, her answer was simple: faith. “I prayed every night for my dream,” she shared. “It took years to get here, but I’m grateful—God carried me through every step.”
A self-professed dreamer, Ashtine continues to rise while staying grounded—anchored by faith and the people who surround her. And in many ways, this chapter feels like only the beginning.
Take the Leap
It’s not every day that a woman achieves her dreams—especially when the journey takes years. Still, Ashtine says she would do it all over again without hesitation. “You have to take a leap. You have to take that risk, or else you’ll never really know if you’ll make it,” the actress said.
