Regardless of age, we are always in the pursuit of beauty. Whether it’s through makeup, skincare, or enhancements—we all want to feel beautiful. It is something that the founder and CEO of The Pretty You, Jessa Macaraig, also believes in. “Beauty starts from within, it is not merely physical. When you think beautifully, it reflects with your character, with the way you communicate, the way you see things, and the way you interact.”
Founded in 2019, together with husband Marvin Macaraig, The Pretty You Aesthetic Clinic and Beauty Clinic is a one-stop shop for all beauty needs imaginable to propel and boost Filipinos’ confidence and to appreciate their own comeliness as well.
However, when the onslaught of the pandemic hit the world, much of the beauty industry was left to fend for itself. But there was a silver lining: a lot of people started spending more time at home, which meant they had more time to experiment with their beauty routines.
Despite a major challenge before her industry, the aesthetics clinic founder didn’t let this setback hinder her from dreaming up products that could effectively address all beauty concerns even in the confines of their patrons’ homes. “The pandemic paved the way for me to flex my muscles for resilience. I took the challenge and did not allow the limitations brought about by the pandemic to make me unproductive. I started to formulate beauty products which I concocted and tested,” says Macaraig.
Since its launch, the popular aesthetic clinic now offers its very own skincare line, Belle SkinCare by The Pretty You. Through the former TV personality and model’s perseverance and confidence in her own products, clients can maintain their glow and fresh-looking skin within reach.
With over 20 branches all over the Philippines, the ever-expanding and highly sought-after beauty clinic is paving the way in redefining the importance of beauty in this day and age and helping Filipinos find their inner glow through the pandemic and beyond.
