After nearly four years, BTS is set to return to the stage as a complete group with their impending return. Ever since the members officially completed their military service in 2025, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the group’s eventual comeback. That moment is almost here. On March 20, the group will release their fifth full-length album, and first since their anthology Proof in 2022. Titled ARIRANG, the LP will have 14 tracks and is described as chronicling the members’ ups and downs over the past few years.

The name, which translates to “my beloved one” in Korean, wasn’t chosen randomly, though. It’s also the title of a famous and culturally significant traditional Korean folk song known in the country as an anthem of resilience and cultural identity. Included on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list, the song holds great significance for Koreans, and BTS’s use of the name for their upcoming album suggests they aim to tap into their own and the collective strength and resilience over the past few years.

That’s not all, though, as BTS will also be embarking on a comeback world tour starting in April, marking their first tour in four years. Kicking off in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, the tour will head to the US, Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia, before wrapping up with the group’s long-awaited return to Manila with two shows on March 13-14, 2027. Forgoing traditional stages, BTS’s comeback stadium tour will feature a  360-degree, in-the-round stage design for all their performances, giving audiences a full, unobstructed view of each performance.

It goes without saying that BTS’s comeback is going to be in full force. So, before it all goes down, here are a few ways to get ready for what may be one of the biggest pop culture moments of the year.

Start Saving for a BTS Fund

With a new album that features multiple versions and variants on both CD and vinyl, and a world tour, it’s safe to say that ARMYs will be spending this year. If you see yourself buying and collecting their albums or seeing them on tour and buying official merch, you may want to consider saving money for those purchases as early as now. Set aside a fund and save accordingly for what you want or can afford. But if the budget is just too tight this year, you can always support the boys for free by listening and streaming their music online.

Listen to BTS’s Old Music

While we don’t know yet what songs the group will play on tour, there’s a good chance the setlist will include many of BTS’s nostalgic hits. For ARMYs who got into BTS during and after the pandemic, ARIRANG marks their first comeback with an original body of work. So, now’s the time to dive into the group’s extensive discography, whether as an opportunity for a throwback or prepare for the tour. Their 2022 anthology album Proof is a good place to start, but you’re free to check out their many albums and EPs in whatever order you like. From stadium-ready bangers to meaningful tracks, there’s a lot to enjoy in their body of work.

Watch Their Old Content

When we say content, it isn’t just their music videos. This also goes for their digital shorts and videos, such as their RUN BTS! variety show and Summer Package specials. With the group slated to resume their activities as a unit this year, use the opportunity to binge-watch years’ worth of content. Whether you’re a long-time fan looking to reminisce or a new ARMY looking to brush up on lore, these videos and specials not only show the group’s more playful side but also let viewers in on the members beyond the limelight.

Plan Your Itinerary if You’re Going To See Them on Tour

Spread across 34 cities with 79 performances, and more on the way, BTS’s 2026-2027 tour will be the largest-ever single tour by a K-pop group in terms of total shows. That’s a lot of shows, but the demand will more than likely also be there. BTS’s return to Manila in 2027 marks the first time the group has held a concert in the country in a decade, so you can expect many Filipino ARMYs to be eagerly anticipating that. If you plan on seeing them abroad, say for example on the June 13 show in Busan that coincides with BTS Festa, it would be advisable to start planning the itinerary, and even booking flights and lodging already.

From tickets, flights, accommodations, transportation, visas, and more, lay out what you need to do and the associated expenses so you aren’t caught flat-footed once ticket selling begins. You may also want to consider getting an ARMY MEMBERSHIP so you can gain access to the presale and have more chances to secure a ticket.

Listen to the Members’ Solo Music

Since 2022, the members have spent their time either serving in the military or working on their solo activities, namely releasing solo music. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all have solo music out, and there’s a good chance those tracks will be included on the tour setlist. Not only are these tracks great in their own right, but they also showcase the members’ individual artistic growth that we may see come into play once their comeback activities resume.
