For the first time in Allure history, its Philippine, U.S., and Korea editions have come together, all featuring one cover group: KATSEYE. As one of today’s biggest global girl groups, the six-member (five, due to Manon’s hiatus) act has quickly become a force in pop culture, captivating audiences with chart-climbing releases, electrifying performances, and a growing international fanbase.

As Allure Philippines Editor-in-Chief Rissa Mananquil Trillo puts it, “They embody what beauty looks like today—multicultural, borderless, and impossible to define by a single standard.”

The Beauty Direction

The Philippine edition is a masterclass in timeless glamour with a contemporary twist. Cool-toned smoky eyes, glossy nude lips, voluminous blowouts, and the bleached brows of Daniela, Megan, and Lara strike the perfect balance between nostalgia and modern editorial beauty. The look feels familiar yet fresh—proof that KATSEYE can effortlessly make even classic glam feel current.

Hanging On to Beauty

The Korean edition takes a more playful approach, with the members posing alongside and hanging onto beauty products and tools. Rather than serving as mere props, these objects become extensions of the group’s youthful energy and chemistry. Even on the cover of a beauty magazine, KATSEYE’s personalities remain the focal point, reminding readers that beauty is just as much about confidence and individuality as it is about products.

Everything Global

Made up of members from different countries and cultural backgrounds, KATSEYE has always represented a more expansive vision of pop stardom. That multicultural identity makes them the perfect choice to unite three Allure editions under one cover story. Much like Dream Academy brought together talent from across the world to create the group, this collaboration reflects a shared vision of beauty that transcends borders and celebrates representation.

It’s only fitting that KATSEYE—a girl group embodying the diverse lens of beauty today—marks such a historic first for Allure. In those three covers, they’ve only proven that we’re celebrating a new era of beauty, one where it’s shaped by the many cultures and identities that define it today.

Frequently Asked Questions

KATSEYE is the first cover group to unite Allure Philippines, US, and Korea simultaneously, marking a historic first for the magazine. Editor-in-Chief Rissa Mananquil Trillo says the group embodies beauty that is “multicultural, borderless, and impossible to define by a single standard.”

The Philippine edition features cool-toned smoky eyes, glossy nude lips, voluminous blowouts, and bleached brows on members Daniela, Megan, and Lara — a styling choice that balances nostalgic glamour with contemporary editorial beauty.

Allure Korea takes a more playful approach, with members posing alongside beauty products and tools rather than wearing a single defined look. The objects function as extensions of the group’s energy and chemistry rather than as standalone product features.

KATSEYE currently performs as a five-member act due to Manon’s hiatus, so the Allure Philippines, US, and Korea covers reflect the group’s current lineup rather than all six original members.

The KATSEYE cover story appears in Allure Philippines Volume 4, available for pre-order through the magazine’s official online shop ahead of its release.
