The angels have arrived, and this time more than ever, they’ve traded perfection for power. Returning to the runway with new wings, Victoria’s Secret 2025 reframed its legacy through a renewed promise of inclusivity and strength. What centered on fantasy now feels closer to reality, showcasing that allure need not fit one mold. If the old show asked women to look good to feel good, the new one insists they should feel good to look good—an inversion long overdue.

The angels didn’t return alone. The audience shimmered with personalities who have long embodied confidence on their own terms—Anne Curtis, Sarah Jessica Parker, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Law Roach, amongst other global figures sat front row, bearing witness to this redefined vision of “sexy.”

The show unfolded across six segments: First Light, gilded in amber and gold; Bombshell, a bold burst of pink; PINK Halftime Show, a playful nod to athleisure; Hot Pursuit, a fiery display in scarlet; Magic Hour, a nod to Y2K sunset hues; and Black Tie, the after-dark finale dripping in glamour.

Jasmine Tookes opened the show, glowing in a golden orb-laden number, proudly walking in her third trimester. The moment, radiant and unfiltered, felt like the show’s most sincere statement yet: beauty has no expiration, and womanhood no single shape.

Veteran angels Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, and Gigi Hadid returned to familiar wings. Meanwhile, Bella Hadid reignited the runway in red following her hiatus after walking only for friend Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent S/S26 show in Paris. Joining them were angels of the present—Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Ashley Graham, Adut Akech, and Paloma Elsesser—alongside WNBA star Angel Reese and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee, the first professional athletes to ever walk the show.

On stage, Missy Elliott, Karol G, Madison Beer, and Twice set the rhythm for this new chapter. Karol G’s “Latina Forever” moment—complete with red lace catsuit and wings—was a statement both celebratory and political, underscoring how the show now speaks in many languages, not just lingerie.

Victoria’s Secret 2025 wasn’t flawless, but it was telling. With faces like Emily Ratajkowski, Precious Lee, Barbie Ferreira, Daiane Sodre, Yumi Nuis, Amelia Gray, and Iris Law making their debuts—and legends like Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio marking nearly two decades on the runway—the brand has begun to understand that beauty’s truest fantasy lies in reality.
The wings are lighter now, perhaps because they’re shared.
