Solidarity was the thread that bound the evening together as the Kering Foundation held its Fourth Annual Caring for Women Dinner. Dressed in their finest, two hundred of the most influential names in film, fashion, and culture gathered to show their support for women’s empowerment. And among the fashion houses that lent their artistry to the night, Gucci stood out in particular.
Dressing for the Cause
As part of Kering’s Houses, Gucci aligned with the night’s co-chairs and distinguished guests to unify glamour with purpose.
Demi Moore, actress and co-chair, embodied dark elegance in a Gucci black gown embroidered with a serpentine sequin motif. She paired the look with a Gucci High Jewelry multi-finger ring in white gold with green beryl and diamonds, alongside tourmaline, garnet, opal, and diamond earrings. Completing the ensemble, Moore carried a black Bamboo Night handbag.

Jessica Chastain, actress, film producer, and co-chair, chose a softer but no less commanding presence in a Gucci lilac lace and tulle strapless gown with a heart-shaped neckline. She echoed Moore’s choice of handbag, but in silver.

Dakota Johnson, ever the Gucci muse, wore a sheer black tulle gown punctuated with Flora embellishments. Paired with black bamboo-heeled sandals and the black Gucci Bamboo Night handbag, she was stunningly romantic yet still sharp.

Kirsten Dunst leaned into sophistication with a Gucci brown silk crepe halter gown, fastened at the neck with a gold Horsebit detail. An open back, platform gold sandals, and a gold Gucci Bamboo Night gave her look a striking finish.

Yara Shahidi offered a jolt of vibrance in a Gucci lime green silk cady gown with a high slit trimmed in tonal ostrich feathers. To keep her look cohesive, she opted for a forest-green Gucci Bamboo Night handbag and matching sandals.

Bethann Hardison, model, activist, and industry trailblazer, wore a Gucci Pre-Fall 2025 brown chiffon dress with puffed sleeves and a bow detail, cinched with a forest green Dionysus belt. Crystal GG heels and a silver Gucci Bamboo Night handbag affirmed her role as both icon and advocate.

Last but certainly not the least, Chloe Malle—fashion editor, journalist, and Anna Wintour’s named successor—chose a Gucci blush silk dress scattered with crystal embellishments. She diverged from the Bamboo Night and instead carried a silver Gucci Jackie Notte handbag.

From Runway to Real Change
Each Gucci gown, accessory, and detail tied fashion’s language of beauty to the Foundation’s call for justice and safety. Since its founding in 2008, the Kering Foundation has worked to build a world that supports women and children. With last year’s dinner raising $3 million and this year’s proceeds set to benefit four vital organizations, glamour becomes a force for positive change.
