Bangkok is about to sparkle brighter than ever. Tiffany & Co. has chosen Thailand as the stage for its first exhibition in the country, titled Legendary Legacy, opening until September 7 at One Bangkok, Tower 4. This is a rare chance to peek inside the creative world of Jean Schlumberger, one of the 20th century’s most visionary designers, and to witness over fifty treasures from The Tiffany Archives, including the legendary Tiffany Diamond.

True to Tiffany tradition, the unveiling was met with a blue carpet moment of its own. Thailand’s brightest names—Win Metawin, Faye, Amanda Obdam, and Baifern—joined high jewelry ambassador Sririta Jensen Narongdej in celebrating the occasion. They were joined by Tiffany & Co. friends from across the region, including Malaysia’s Marion Caunter and the Philippines’ Anne Curtis, all gathered to mark the brand’s first exhibition in Thailand.
Spread across five immersive rooms, Legendary Legacy traces Schlumberger’s boundless imagination and Tiffany’s 188-year history of craftsmanship.

The exhibition opens with “Guadeloupe: An Island of Inspiration“, a space that reveals how Jean Schlumberger’s Caribbean retreat shaped his artistry. The lush colors and natural beauty of the island became a wellspring of ideas, translating into creations alive with organic forms and vivid stones.

From there, visitors step into “Garden of Imagination”, where Schlumberger’s fascination with flora and fauna comes into full bloom. Here, creatures, plants, and surreal landscapes are reinterpreted with dazzling intricacy. Among the highlights is the Elephant Head Clip, adorned with diamonds, emeralds, and turquoise, drawn from a distinguished private collection. Its design nods to his travels through Southeast Asia, including Thailand itself.

The journey continues into “The Depths of Beauty“, a room immersed in the mystery of the sea. Schlumberger’s lifelong passion for marine life surfaces in jewels such as the Hedges and Flowers necklace, which sparkles with yellow sapphires, turquoise, and diamonds, echoing the shifting hues of ocean light.

Next is “Wings: Symbols of the Soul“, a gallery dedicated to transformation, transcendence, and the poetry of flight. Schlumberger’s winged motifs unfold as metaphors of freedom and spirit.

The grand finale belongs to the crown jewel: the 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond, revealed in Southeast Asia for the very first time. Its latest setting, inspired by Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock design, features five diamond-encrusted birds encircling the gem in mid-flight. More than 2,000 hours of meticulous craftsmanship went into its creation, transforming one of the world’s most famous diamonds into a living sculpture of light and movement.
As President and CEO of Tiffany & Co. Anthony Ledru notes, “Legendary Legacy celebrates Tiffany & Co.’s 188-year history and the iconic designs of one of the 20th century’s most gifted artists, Jean Schlumberger. Throughout the space, one-of-a-kind creations from The Tiffany Archives will immerse visitors in the wonder and unparalleled craftsmanship that has defined Tiffany & Co. since its inception.”

Furthermore, Vice President of Creative Visual Merchandising & The Tiffany Archives Christopher Young noted, “Bringing historic jewels to Thailand opens a new chapter in our storytelling. It’s not just about looking back, it’s about connecting Tiffany’s heritage with a culture that deeply appreciates artistry, symbolism and legacy. This exhibition is a conversation between past and present,
across continents.”

A showcase like this is a once-in-a-generation encounter. From Schlumberger’s fantastical creations to the dazzling Tiffany Diamond in its newest setting, Legendary Legacy distills nearly two centuries of artistry into a limited engagement.
