There are moments that feel like entirely different lifetimes. Remember the first time you packed for a trip? Or that time you moved into your own place, fresh out of college and trying to make something out of yourself? You carried with you nothing but hopes and dreams, with pieces of your life stuffed into your RIMOWA suitcase.

We’re sure those won’t be the last time you get up, pack up, and move into a new adventure. Life, after all, is constantly in motion. But throughout it, there are things that stay the same—accompanying us across generations and ambitions. RIMOWA’s latest campaign tells us this story—showing us what moving through life could mean for everyone.

For a Lifetime of Lives

Moving forward isn’t always about how far we’ll go, but what we choose to carry with us—this is the idea at the heart of Rimowa’s For a Lifetime of Lives campaign. Directed by the Argentinian filmmaking trio Pantera and set to a bespoke score by American trumpeter and composer Theo Croker, the campaign unfolds through three films—Window Seat, Run it Back, and Another Take—centered on a trumpet and the RIMOWA aluminium case that protects it.
Window Seat kicks off the story, with a trumpeter handing his cased instrument to his son.
Run it Back tells us the life of the said son—now a musician—as he moves between rehearsal rooms and finding his own voice.
Lastly, Another Take shows the day leading up to a performance. Throughout these films, the RIMOWA case accumulates dents and marks—reflecting a life well-lived.

Engineered for Life
There’s little doubt that a RIMOWA suitcase can live for multiple lifetimes, with the Maison placing quality and innovation at its core. Since introducing aviation-inspired aluminum to its suitcases—as seen in the Classic Cabin Silver—it has redefined what endurance could look like. Its unconditional lifetime guarantee only reinforces the idea that a RIMOWA suitcase is engineered for life—withstanding decades and bearing witness to the stories we forge everyday.

And in many ways, the suitcase also reflects our journeys. We will lead many lives—stumbling, falling, and occasionally hitting a bump in the road in the process. We may carry with us baggage. But we always move forward with intention, carrying the marks of what we had to endure.
