Legacy society publication Lifestyle Asia recently celebrated its print comeback and new editorial leadership with a summer soiree—“La Dolce Vita.” More than just a party, the event marked a significant milestone for the magazine, which redefines luxury and features the most influential and affluent faces of society.

Kerry Tinga, the newly appointed Chief of Editorial Content, introduced Lifestyle Asia’s new, multidimensional approach to luxury, emphasizing a personalized journey of discovery. The highlight of the soirée was 22-year-old cover girl Rocio Zobel, who embodies the magazine’s new direction—one that caters to the next generation of society readers and personalities.

From vibrant tropical oasis decor and refreshing cocktails to an esteemed mix of guests, the soiree offered a memorable and picturesque experience. Beyond the lively music and summer drinks, it was clear that resort wear was young society’s uniform that evening.

Rocio Zobel: Summer It Girl
If there’s something about the heiress you should know about, it’s her love for summer. Whether it’s at the beach, in the middle of a crystal clear ocean, or in front of tropical greenery, her comment section will always be filled with compliments for her summer outfits. As seen from her Instagram, her tropical style is a perfect mix of breezy and chic, sultry and youthful, yet sophisticated, making her the perfect Lifestyle Asia cover girl.

Local Designers Worn
Many of the youth in society wore local designers to La Dolce Vita, a display on both local heritage and their own creations. Daughter of a renowned jeweler, Jacqui Dizon wore her family’s jewelry to the event, showcasing local craftsmanship and family heritage through her ensemble. Entrepreneur Bianca Gonzalez, in her soft pink dress, wore Ma. Collecta, taking pride in her own local brand. As for Maxine Hortaleza-Pumaren, she perfectly channeled resort wear in a floral Rosanna Ocampo top.

Trends Spotted
Woven, Raffia, and Bamboo Top Handle Bags
Shades that evoked sandy shores and desert palms with playful shapes and designs adorned the handbags of the young women. With their effortless boho aesthetic, these make it an ideal style for handbags for the hotter months.

Boho Ruffles
Several Chloé girls wore cascading sleeves on dresses and tops, sheer tulle layers, and delicate lace—breezy and feminine. One of them was Chief of Editorial Content Kerry Tinga in a ruffled silk-georgette mini dress by the fashion house.

Pattern Play
From retro floral motifs and watercolor to fruit patterns, guests certainly played in the summer with their fun patterns. Cover girl Rocio Zobel herself stunned in a floral set, channeling summer’s relaxing atmosphere.

Tube Dresses and Asymmetrical Necklines
The summer wind kissed bare shoulders and arms that night. Paired with breezy skirts, several opted for strapless, tube, and asymmetrical cuts, keeping it laid-back yet polished. Vice President for Lifestyle Media Brands Apples Aberin donned a green dress with an asymmetrical neckline by Rajo Laurel.

Often worn for travel and vacation to exude relaxation, the guests at La Dolce Vita definitely have a way of elevating resort wear, infusing luxury with a youthful, modern flair.
