Ho Ngoc Ha has long been a style authority in Southeast Asia, but her recent appearance in two Rajo Laurel creations reaffirms her flair for couture-level drama. The Vietnamese singer, model and actress—who shared MEGA’s April 2025 cover with Pia Wurtzbach—stepped out wearing two standout looks that captured Laurel’s instinct for sculptural lines, tactile fabrics, and cinematic silhouettes.

Origami in Motion

The first look incorporated lots of pleats. In an ivory asymmetrical dress with a single, exaggerated sleeve, Ho embodied high drama. The architectural piece featured sharp pleats that curved and cascaded from shoulder to hem, with a high-low silhouette that revealed legs and heels in perfect proportion. With its shell-like textures and diagonal folds, the piece looked engineered rather than sewn—modern yet mythic, like something carved rather than draped.

Then came the second look in contemporary Filipiniana: a slinky, silvery gown with razor-precise ruching and a fluid column silhouette. The texture mimicked skin—reptilian, rippling, and hypnotic—accentuated by the gown’s butterfly sleeves and beaded seams that pulled the eye down to its fringe-laced hem
With Rajo Laurel’s architectural precision and her commanding presence, the result was harmony in fashion at full volume. A perfect match for Ho Ngoc Ha‘s cool confidence.
