In a night that reimagined classic Halloween through a high-fashion lens, actress Andrea Brillantes made her HalloQueen return at The New Nocturnals—serving unapologetic black cat energy. Dressed in a Neric Beltran halter bodysuit, feline ears, sleek tail, prosthetics, and full black body paint, she embodied pure feline allure. Stylist Eldzs Mejia shared with MEGA every detail behind the actress’s striking nocturnal transformation.

Graceful, effortless, and mysterious, Brillantes was seduction personified in her nocturnal standout look. “Halloween is something Andrea and I truly enjoy. Since she missed last year’s events due to her schedule, we wanted to make sure this year marked a strong comeback,” Mejia started. “This year, she wanted to fully transform and become almost unrecognizable, yet simple and impactful. Hence, a mysterious Black Cat.”

Often seen as a symbol of bad luck, the black cat is also associated with night, mystery, and transformation. In folklore, they’re believed to take human form after dark—a fitting embodiment of The New Nocturnals theme.
And a strong comeback it was. Following her 2023 costumes as an Aswang and Lilith, Brillantes sought to elevate her looks through SFX artistry. “She really challenged herself to see how committed she could be to her transformations, pushing her creativity and endurance to the next level,” the stylist shared.

But the magic wasn’t just in the final reveal—it was in the process. “There were moments where six makeup artists were working on her simultaneously to complete the body and face makeup, or when she did three separate fittings with designer Neric Beltran to perfect every detail,” Mejia recalled. “No matter how busy her schedule gets, Andrea always makes time to bring her ideas to life.”
