You can know a designer without ever really knowing their work. Four decades. That’s how long Elie Saab has been in the fashion industry, his name becoming synonymous with couture and red-carpet glamour along the way. But unless those are regular fixtures in your wardrobe, you could be forgiven for admiring the Lebanese designer mostly from afar. They get it, really.
Hence, their upcoming H&M collaboration.
H&M Brings Elie Saab Within Reach

Launching in October, the partnership is set to translate the house’s signatures across womenswear, menswear, and accessories. It’s an elegant wardrobe, certainly. At the same time, the tailored coats and leather separates make it feel less daunting, so anyone can try them on.

There are plenty of highbrow skeptics who are quick to criticize when designers enter the realm of fast fashion. And yet, it can’t be denied that part of what makes a good collaboration such as this one so exciting is that, at its best, it can serve as an introduction to the signatures and perspectives that made a couturier famous in the first place. Elie Saab Jr. also said that the house has already been seeing increased engagement from younger audiences, particularly those aged 18 to 25, and views H&M’s reach as a way to introduce the label to more of them.

You may walk into H&M simply because that black lace dress caught your eye. Maybe you’ll want to get your hands on the bag, too. And maybe, somewhere between the dégradé sequins and an extremely glamorous flower choker, you’ll start wondering what else Elie Saab has been doing all these years.

The designer himself called this “an invitation into the Elie Saab dream.” Well, consider our interest piqued.
ELIE SAAB x H&M launches on October 22, 2026, in select stores and online, including H&M Ayala Greenbelt in the Philippines.
