As the lights dimmed and the first beat dropped, BENCH Fashion Week Holiday 2025 was officially in motion. Last night at SPACE, One Ayala, the opening showcase gathered Manila’s finest designers and celebrities under one roof. Opening the season was Kashieca Luxe, 8Seconds, and Urban Revivo, and all three brought their own distinct answers to fashion’s perennial question:
“What does Philippine everyday fashion look like now?”

Kashieca Luxe

Kashieca Luxe’s French-inspired looks spoke the loudest to the discerning chic femmes of today. The brand had always excelled in elegant silhouettes, and this collection was no exception. However, the emphasis was more on timeless sophistication through a modern lens this time.

8Seconds

From Seoul to Manila, 8Seconds brought collegiate street-style for cool minimalists. The Korean label translated its signature youthful energy into ensembles that resonated directly to a generation that values individuality with subtlety. The collection emulated a sort of urban nonchalance for bold academics.

Urban Revivo

Urban Revivo and Elaine Zhong’s “The Dream Voyager” took the audience on a journey. Fluid and wanderlust-driven, the line embraced fashion as a voyage. Airy textures and delicate details conjured movement, while a touch of cosmopolitan essence kept the pieces grounded.

More of a prelude than a crescendo, the first day of BENCH Fashion Week Holiday 2025 introduced what could be called an everyday fashion trinity. Kashieca Luxe, 8Seconds, and Urban Revivo each offered their own language of ready-to-wear rooted in accessibility. These collections reflect the kind of wardrobe that moves with Filipinos—a wardrobe that can be lived and worn.
The spotlight will soon shift to designer showcases and bolder statements, but Day 1 laid the groundwork with brands that shape how we actually live and dress.
