This collection is akin to a coming-of-age, a deliberate refining of what the brand already knows how to do: shape familiar forms with unexpected substance. “We’re growing garment by garment,” Villegas says. “Building a world that reflects our distinct vision.”

IÑIGO isn’t sprinting toward novelty, but pacing itself, maturing with intention, and adding chapters to its design vocabulary through texture, layering, and a touch of tactile audacity.
Touch, Interrupted
Resort 2025 is a conversation between skin and surface. As one does, Villegas began with material: picking swatches, chasing scraps, holding beads. “Bits and pieces I’d find in my pocket after long days sourcing around the metro,” he recalls. “Forgotten yet full of potential.”
There’s a romanticism in that — turning fragments into fashion, the mundane into mood. His approach to texture is rather alive, nurtured with instinct and affection. Fringe strips and fur panels are as much the dress as focal statements
Movement isn’t optional, but built into the blueprint. A former performer, Villegas threads choreography into construction. Beads swing. Drapes billow. The silhouettes seem to vibrate with kinetic possibility. “Even when the garment itself is still,” he says, “the details create a visual rhythm that keeps the piece alive.”
Embellished Vocabulary
For the first time, Villegas merges beadwork with elongated fringe strips, in what was a test of patience and a triumph of layering. The garment behaved like a thought in motion, charged with unpredictable energy. They challenge how we experience them—through sound, sway, and shimmer. For the IÑIGO woman, it’s a journey that awakens her inner light and invites her to explore new sides of herself.
These embellishments are vocabulary, and Villegas is speaking in texture. The material interrupts the captivation of the garment, pushes against it, and brings it somewhere new. Loud it must be, but when it’s ready, it challenges itself to be still. Each surface is an entry point to something deeper.
Adventures in Selfhood
Where is the IÑIGO woman headed? Somewhere unnamed, certainly, but somewhere she can move. “A place of boundless adventure,” Villegas says, “where movement, freedom, and self-expression come alive.”
