This year’s MEGA Ball had all its attendees, from celebrities to beauty queens, dressed in attention-grabbing looks that are meant to break from normal red-carpet attire. Instead of long ball gowns, stilettos, and clean and perfect hair, this year’s theme “Glam Rock: A Performance of Style” encouraged everyone to embrace a unique expression of total sartorial creativity. Not only that but MEGA also invited guests to rewind, rework and reimagine their favorite wardrobe pieces. With the theme having room for interpretation, many took full advantage by dressing in sultry dresses, full leather fits, and towering platform boots while others went injected subdued elements such as intricate embellished and feather detailing that one can truly enjoy and dance all night in.
