What happens when a beauty girl gets married? You book the perfect venue, find the shoes, and say yes to the dress, but none of it matters until you face forever with the perfect face. And while beauty content creator Marj Maroket (now Maroket-Winter) consistently serves face in her get-ready-with-me’s, her wedding day to Brendan Winter called for the beat of all beats. Who better to materialize this than makeup artist Jelly Eugenio? In this exclusive, Eugenio reveals the secrets to sculpting Maroket into a golden hour bride and every luminous detail in between.

Bronzed and Betrothed
“The peg for the wedding look is a bronzy golden goddess,” Eugenio told MEGA. It felt like a foregone conclusion, because what else could it have been?

Her complexion beamed, her eyes smoldered, and her cheeks held the softest pinch of pink. This was still Marj, just at her most gilded. Credit goes to the makeup artist who understands that a bride should still look like herself—only at her most breathtaking.
It was also a welcome break from the usual Thai-inspired or porcelain-doll visage often imposed even on morena brides. “That’s what looks best on her skin tone!” Eugenio noted, talking about the golden goddess reference. “We did a sunset theme on the eyes, and for the rest, just really golden, bronzy, beautiful.” The latter was an understatement.
The Beauty Breakdown
What better way to glow than in Dior? Nearly the entire look was painted in the luxury of Dior Beauty.

“Dior Beauty in the Philippines sent Marj and I a lot of products to use for the wedding,” Eugenio said. The standout? The 003 variant of the Dior Backstage Glow Palette. “It’s the key product because it was used on the eyes and on the cheeks.” He went on to share that he used the brushes from the Happy Skin x Marj collaboration, as well as Dior Addict Lip Glow on the lips.
Though Dior Beauty carried the bulk of the look, the real intrigue is in an unreleased product by Jelly Eugenio himself. “The blush I used is my product; it hasn’t been launched yet,” he teased. Making a grand appearance on Maroket’s big day, it’s officially bride-approved for the most photographed moment of her life—so you bet we’re on high alert for its official reveal.
A Beauty Girl’s Dream
Marj Maroket knows what she wants, especially when it comes to beauty. You’d think that would make her a tough critic, but with Jelly Eugenio at the brush, it was nothing but love.
“She mentioned, ‘I want the most beautiful makeup I could ever have,’ and every time she looked in the mirror, she was really surprised at how everything looked,” Eugenio shared.

So how did they pull it off? Collaboration. “I think we really nailed what she was imagining in her head and what I really like as my style,” said Eugenio. The eyebrows stayed bold and bushy, just how Marj liked them, while the skin was peak Jelly in his signature ‘flawless in photos, photos in person’ vibe.
“Jelly made me look my most beautiful while being the girl Brendan recognizes and loves,” Maroket shared in a post. What a dream come true for this beauty girl—and a reminder to brides-to-be that the best bridal beat is not a costume, but about showing up as the self that is most radiant and familiar to you.
